During the first few years of my career, I had the opportunity to defend a number of doctors in the hospitals in medical negligence or medical malpractice claims. They gave me unique perspective in terms of how to evaluate a claim because I saw the way that the healthcare industry was evaluating these claims. Many times people believe simply because someone got a bad result from some medical treatment or somebody died, what they believe to be the result of medical treatment that they have a claim from medical malpractice.
