Crescent City, CA – Two Vehicles Collide along Northcrest Drive near Adams Avenue and Shelter Island Boulevard

Crescent City, CA (August 15, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that injuries may have been sustained as the result of a two-vehicle traffic accident that took place along the 1600 block of Northcrest Drive, in the vicinity of Adams Avenue and Shelter Island Boulevard. Offices initially logged the collision at approximately 11:41 AM in the morning on Monday, August 13, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

Based on the CHP report, two vehicles were traveling along Northcrest Drive and, for indeterminate reasons, collided. Sometime later, paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and provided aid to an unspecified number of victims, who may have suffered injuries during the impact.

As part of cleanup operations, officials blocked off southbound Lane 1 on Northcrest. Around 12:11 PM in the afternoon, authorities opened the road to traffic.
