East Sacramento, CA – Neima Cameron Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident

East Sacramento, CA (January 20, 2019) – 29-year-old Niema Cameron was struck and killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place at the East Lawn Memorial Park. The victim was killed on Friday morning and identified on Saturday.

Cameron was found lying in the driveway of the Memorial Park by somebody who was passing by the area around 6 a.m. Friday morning near Folsom Boulevard.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the accident and tragically pronounced Cameron deceased at the scene. Cameron had been struck by a vehicle that was believed to be a Honda Hybrid. The motorist allegedly got out of their vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

The vehicle was found abandoned in the area of 36^th Street in the Oak Park neighborhood. The investigation into the matter continues at this time as police attempt to determine who was behind the wheel of the car at the time.
