Malibu, CA – Motorcyclist and Passenger Killed in Crash on CA-1 at Westward Beach Rd

Malibu, CA (June 28, 2019) – Thursday night on June 27th, a motorcyclist and his passenger were killed in a vehicle collision that took place on CA-1 near Westward Beach Rd. Both were reported to have sustained serious injuries, primarily broken bones and intense trauma. 

The Los Angeles County sheriff’s station in Malibu stated that the accident happened in the evening at 8:45 p.m.

Authorities reported that emergency units airlifted the female passenger to Dignity Health-Northridge Hospital Medical Center, and the man operating the motorcycle was airlifted to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood. 

It isn’t known at this time if the driver of the other vehicle sustained any injuries. 

All lanes CA-1 at Westward were closed until later that day at 10:19 p.m.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
