Santee, CA – Two Women Severely Injured after Pedestrian Accident and Hit-and-Run Incident along Molino Drive near El Nopal and Cuyamaca Street

Santee, CA (August 30, 2018) – Local authorities reported that two women sustained severe injuries as the result of a pedestrian accident and hit-and-run incident that took place along Molino Drive, in the vicinity of El Nopal and Cuyamaca Street. The incident happened at approximately 8:05 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the two victims or the suspects involved in the crash has been revealed.

At this time, authorities have not yet determined the events leading up to the accident.

Based on the initial reports, multiple occupants of the suspect vehicle had attempted to escape a confrontation in which they had become involved. After driving away from the scene, the vehicle plowed into the two women and fled the crash site.

Sometime later, paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and brought the victims to a nearby hospital, where they received treatment for severe injuries.
