Sonora, CA – Tessie Nicole Odom Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Highway 108

Sonora, CA (February 22, 2019) – On Friday, 36-year-old Tessie Nicole Odom reportedly lost her life in a fatal pedestrian crash that happened at Highway 108. Odom allegedly stepped onto the roadway for reasons that are not known when the accident occurred.

Police say that Odom was struck by a 2016 Chrysler that had been headed eastbound on the highway near its intersection with West Stockton Street. The accident occurred with such force that Odom was sent flying into an oncoming Ford F-350 driven by 28-year-old Glenn Gray.

When responding paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident, they found Odom deceased. Gray and the other driver, 21-year-old Timothy Hollis, stayed at the scene of the accident to cooperate with police.

At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
