Moreno Valley, CA – 3-Car Accident on Gilman Springs Road Causes Injuries
Moreno Valley, CA (April 1, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol, local fire department personnel, and Hemet police officers responded to a crash on Saturday, March 30th, around 1:10 a.m. The crash took place on Gilman Springs Road, near Bridge Street.
A collision that initially involved two cars quickly grew into a three-car accident. Officials reported that the driver of a white Dodge sedan fell asleep at the wheel and swerved into the other lane, where it collided with a white SUV and a silver sedan.
The Dodge and the SUV had front-end damage, while the silver sedan had driver-side damage and minor front-end damage.
Firefighters were required to extricate the Dodge driver from their car. After the extrication, the patient was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The driver of the SUV sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital as well.
The driver and passenger of the silver sedan were unharmed in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
