Carlsbad, CA- Pedestrian Accident on Carlsbad Blvd. and Tierra del Oro St.

Carlsbad, CA (May 6, 2019)- A pedestrian crash left a man with serious injuries on Sunday on Carlsbad Boulevard and Tierra del Oro Street at around 9 pm.

Reports stated that the pedestrian was crossing Carlsbad Boulevard when a northbound Toyota Tacoma truck hit him. The pedestrian was outside of the crosswalk at the time of the collision.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a serious head injury.

The 18-year-old Tacoma driver remained at the scene following the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
