2 Vehicle Collision in Ocotillo Results in 2 People Injured

June 14, 2018. Two people are injured this morning following a collision between a Jeep and large cargo van on Highway 8. The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place at approximately 8:09 a.m. Thursday morning west of Ocotillo and Coyote Wells. The collision between the blue Jeep and the large white van caused the Jeep to roll over onto its sad, unfortunately trapping one man inside the vehicle.

Paramedics arrived on the scene to assist the victims which included the male driver of the Jeep and one woman. Currently, the extent of their injuries have been unspecified, and it is not known if either of the two victims were transported to a hospital. Both the van and the Jeep were disabled in the crash and had to be towed away from the scene. An investigation is currently being conducted in order to determine the cause of the collision.
