Pedestrian Accident in Santa Barbara County Injures Child
Mission Hills, Santa Barbara County, California (June 18, 2018) – A 5-year old child has sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Mission Hills, California. Eyewitness sources indicate the incident took place around 1:15 PM on June 18, 2018, and occurred along a portion of the Via Gala spanning the 3600 blocks near Calle Cinco. The identities of the victim and the culprit have not yet been revealed to the public, and the vehicle involved in the collision has also not been identified.
Officials were dispatched to the scene where they discovered that a vehicle had hit the pedestrian boy. Paramedics examined the boy and discerned that he had sustained minor injuries. After being initially transported to a CalStar helicopter waiting nearby at Los Berros Elementary School, the victim was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital to receive further care for his injuries.
