San Dimas, CA – 17-Year-Old Injured in Hit-And-Run Bicycle Accident on Via Verde
San Dimas, CA (March 5, 2019) – On the morning of March 5th, a bicycle accident happened on Via Verde at Frank G Bonelli Regional Park. According to the reports, a vehicle struck a 17-year-old bicyclist near Highway 57.
At 11:33 a.m., emergency crews found the bicyclist injured on the roadway and transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the driver responsible fled the scene without stopping to tend to the injured bicyclist.
No other details have been released regarding the extent of the bicyclist’s injuries.
The police are currently searching for the driver responsible as they continue to investigate.
