San Bernardino, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 215 Freeway
San Bernardino, CA (March 7, 2019) – On the 215 Freeway yesterday morning, March 6, police responded to a fatal pedestrian accident that took the life of one person.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle around 3:12 a.m., in the area of 9th Street.
When police arrived at the scene of the accident, they found the victim lying on the freeway as a result of the incident. Paramedics tried to save the life of the pedestrian but they were pronounced deceased at the scene around 14 minutes after the accident took place.
Police have not said whether or not the driver stayed at the scene of the crash. As of now, the name of the pedestrian will be released pending notification of the family.
At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
