Napa County, CA – Lewis Alexander Ort Killed and Lorene McCaffrey Injured in Fatal Head-On Collision on Solano Avenue

Napa County, CA (March 13, 2019) – On the afternoon of March 12^th, a fatal head-on collision happened on Solano Avenue, near Hoffman lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 47-year-old man named Lewis Alexander Ort was speeding against traffic in his vehicle when he crashed into a 2004 Porsche driven by 54-year-old Lorene McCaffrey.

When the paramedics arrived, they found Ort dead at the scene as a result of the crash. They found McCaffrey and her child passenger suffering from minor injuries. An ambulance transported McCaffrey to Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment, while her passenger’s father picked him or her up and sought treatment separately.
