Two Truck Crash in Santa Clarita on SR-14 Freeway

(June 14, 2018) – According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, two trucks crashed into one another this morning around 9:16 a.m. The crash that resulted in injuries occurred southbound on Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway in Santa Clarita. The accident that happened on SR-14 at Newhall Avenue involved a black truck and a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department along with paramedics quickly responded and arrived on the scene to assist those who were hurt in the collision. There was no more information on the physical condition of the drivers involved but the Toyota reportedly suffered some serious damage to the front-end and had to be towed away from the crash site. Antelope Valley Freeway was cleared of both vehicles and all debris at approximately 10:28 a.m. Investigators are still looking into the details of the crash in an attempt to determine fault.
