Fremont, CA – Overturned Car Accident on I-680

Fremont, CA (March 16, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a big rig and two other vehicles occurred on March 15th just before 8 a.m. in rush hour, that involved injuries to at least one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this rollover accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around at 7:55 a.m. on I-680 in Fremont just south of Andrade.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers.  The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation.

The crash ended up blocking the left lane. A car landed on its roof, forcing responders at the crash scene to wait for a tow truck to take it out of the way of traffic.

The case is currently under investigation.
