Perris, CA – Three People Killed, One Injured in Head-On Crash

Perris, CA (March 16, 2019) – A fiery head-on crash involving two pickup trucks occurred on Saturday, March 16 just after 5 a.m. took the life of three people and injured a fourth.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. on the intersection of Cajalco and Gavilan roads in Perris.

One truck was fully enveloped in fire and several people were trapped within a vehicle but firefighters were then able to free them.

The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of their families.

The three victims who passed away were pronounced dead at the scene. The injured victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash blocked both lanes on Cajalco Road and is being investigated by the CHP.
