Concord, CA – Fatal Crash on Highway 4

Concord, CA (March 16, 2019) – A fatal accident involving at least two vehicles occurred on March 16 just after 5 p.m. that took the life at least one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around at 5:11 p.m. near eastbound Highway 4 between Port Chicago Highway and Willow Pass Road.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers.  The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, at least one person did not survive their injuries from this accident.

The right lane and exit ramp are still closed and there is no estimated time to reopen.
