Fresno County, CA – Bus Driver Arrested for DUI After Crashing Bus and Injuring Multiple People

Fresno County, CA (March 24, 2019) – A Greyhound bus driver caused an accident on Sunday, just after 9:30 a.m., with 35 people on board.

The driver lost control while headed south on Highway 99, as it transitions to Highway 180, and ended up crashing into a guardrail.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this bus accident and emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers. Eight to ten of the passenger suffered injuries and one was taken to a local hospital.

The driver has been arrested on suspicion of DUI. Drugs were thought to be involved.
