Fatal Pedestrian Accident on High Bluff Drive

Pedestrian Killed in Accident in San Diego

San Diego, CA (June 15, 2018) – A female pedestrian was killed in a fatal accident that took place before 3:00 PM PST in the vicinity of the Caramel Valley neighborhood, an area reported to have a variety of business centers including several local law offices. Resources indicate the incident occurred in the parking lot of the Highland Corporate Center at 12750 High Bluff Drive.

San Diego police officers stated that a 44-year old man was driving a Dodge cargo van south in the Highland parking lot. After making a right turn, he struck the 55-year old female victim. Once taken to the hospital, the woman succumbed to her injuries and passed away. 

At present, the woman’s identity has not been disclosed to the public, pending identification from and notification of family members, and police have also not yet revealed the identity of the driver. Authorities have not yet determined any cause or motivation behind this unfortunate accident, and an investigation is ongoing.
