Corona, CA – Several Injured in Multiple-Car Crash on 91 Freeway
Corona, CA (March 30, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving an estimated 10 vehicles occurred on Friday, March 29th, just after 9:30 a.m., that left several people injured.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on the westbound 91 Freeway, east of Maple Street.
A driver of a 4Runner was driving unpredictably as traffic was slowing and stopping. The SUV rear-ended a vehicle, which then hit the back of a semi-truck. As well, several other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The driver of the 4Runner and several other people suffered injuries. Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers.
Roadways were closed pending investigations, but are now reopened.
