San Francisco, CA – One Person Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Accident on Cesar Chavez

San Francisco, CA (March 31, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving two vehicles occurred on March 31^st, just after 3:00 a.m., that took the life of one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around 3:06 a.m. on Cesar Chavez and Vermont Street, near the Bayshore Freeway.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers. The injured parties were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, police pronounced one person as dead at the scene

US-101 was closed pending investigations but is now reopened. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
