Truck Accident in Napa Leaves 2 Injured
Napa, CA (June 17, 2018) – A local source reported that two people we hospitalized after a motor vehicle accident Saturday morning around 6:40 a.m. The crash occurred near Third and Randolph Streets, resulting in serious injuries. According to the article, the police stated that a truck was driving north on Randolph Street when it crashed into another truck that was heading east on Third Street. The vehicle that was northbound on Randolph Street allegedly ran a stop sign just before the collision. One of the vehicles reportedly overturned as a result of the crash.
Rescuers from the Napa Fire Department along with paramedics arrived on the scene in order to assist the victims. Both injured drivers were quickly transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center to be treated for at least minor injuries. There was no information made available as the names or conditions of the victims. A portion of Third Street had to be closed down temporarily while police began an investigation. Our warmest sympathies are currently with the victims of this unfortunate accident.

According to reports, one driver is guilty of blowing through a stop sign which certainly classifies as negligent driving. Of course, police will conduct a thorough investigation before moving forward in order to make sure that fault is absolutely conclusive. Other factors on behalf of the other driver might alter the outcome of the investigation if excessive speed or intoxication played a part.
Depending on the outcome of the investigation, there could be reasonable grounds for a solid personal injury lawsuit. Many victims choose to obtain compensation for the incredibly high medical costs that mount up on top of lost wages. The price of full recovery can be a financial nightmare, although it is always only up to the victim themselves to decide if they wish to seek compensation.
