Dixon, CA- Pedestrian Killed on Interstate 80 at Currey Road
Dixon, CA (April 8, 2019)- Westbound Interstate 80 near Currey Road was the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian and a silver Dodge Journey. The accident occurred on Monday morning at around 8:12 am.
The coroner was called after the pedestrian died from their injuries at the crash scene.
The driver of the Dodge stopped and cooperated with police following the crash. As of now, the reason for the pedestrian being on the freeway is not known.
The No. 3 lane and off-ramp were closed and backed up to Dixon Avenue due to the crash.
