Los Osos CA – Fatal Construction Vehicle Crash at S. Bay Blvd. and Nipomo Ave.
Los Osos, CA (April 11, 2019) – A collision involving a construction truck and a Volkswagen station wagon left one dead on Thursday at the intersection of South Bay Boulevard and Nipomo Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place around 9:00 a.m. when the station wagon hit the construction truck. The truck was sent into traffic lanes by the force of the crash. Emergency medical personnel took the driver of the station wagon from the vehicle. A fatality was reported by the CHP at 10:28 a.m.
It is not clear at this time whether the construction truck was occupied at the time of the accident.
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
