Union City, CA – East Bay Regional Parks Officer Injured in I-880 Crash Near Alvarado Niles
Union City, CA (April 13, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Friday at 3:15 p.m., that injured an East Bay Regional Park District Police Officer.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred just south of Alvarado Niles in Union City and shut down all northbound lanes of the freeway.
Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. The injured police officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
The investigation is ongoing.
