Goleta, CA – Teen Boy Struck By A Vehicle at Turnpike Rd and Cervato Way

Goleta, CA (April 13, 2019) – A pedestrian-involved accident occurred in the afternoon of April 12 that injured the victim, a 14-year-old teenage boy.

According to California Highway Patrol officers, the crash occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Turnpike Road and Cervato Way when the teenager was struck by a vehicle.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department, Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, and an ambulance all responded to the accident scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities. The investigation is ongoing.
