Bakersfield, CA – HWY 166 Reopened After Crash Involving Two Semi Trucks

Bakersfield, CA(April 13, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a semi truck and several other cars occurred on April 12 that injured at least one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on Highway 166, which leads to the coast through Maricopa.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers.  The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation.

Roadways were closed pending investigations, but are now reopened.
