When You Are The Victim of a DUI
It’s the most terrifying thing that can happen on the roadway. Someone decided to get behind the wheel when they were intoxicated – and that decision can have serious consequences. If you have been injured by a drunk driver you need justice. Compensation is more than just your medical bills and car damage, something like this can cause permanent change.
If you have been hit by a driver that you suspect is intoxicated, call the police immediately. It is truly difficult to prove alcohol impairment without breathalyzer or video evidence. If there is DUI conviction after the accident it is easier to make your case. You should contact a personal injury attorney as soon as you’ve sought medical treatment to seek full compensation for injury, damages, and losses that have occurred from the accident.
In the most horrific scenario, you may have lost a loved one because of a drunk driving accident. It is fully appropriate that you get full compensation by filing a wrongful death suit in these cases.
