Facts About Fatal Pedestrian Crashes in California
The city of Los Angeles and its surrounding area has more pedestrian fatalities than any other city in the United States. This sad statistic reflects how dangerous it is to be a pedestrian in California’s cities. However, drivers staying alert while on the road could avoid many of these fatalities. For example, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that nighttime is when the majority of fatal pedestrian crashes occur.
