UPDATE: Napa, CA – Erik Keith Woodward Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 29

Napa, CA (April 15, 2019) On the night of April 13^th, a fatal pedestrian crash happened on Highway 29 near First Street. Reports state that an SUV struck 25-year-old Erik Keith Woodward as he crossed the highway at around 9:12 p.m.

When the ambulance got to the scene, they found Woodward dead on the roadway. They also found the driver of the SUV, 51-year-old Fernando Morales, suffering from moderate injuries and rendered aid.

Authorities are investigating the crash to finalize the facts, but so far, Morales is stating that he tried to avoid striking Woodward but his efforts failed.
