Shafter, CA – At least 2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on Highway 99
Shafter, CA (April 17, 2019) On the night of April 16th, a two-vehicle accident happened on Highway 99, not far from Lerdo Highway. The reports state that the accident happened right before 11:00 p.m. A passenger car rear-ended a big rig truck for unspecified reasons.
When the paramedics arrived at the accident, they found the driver and passengers in the passenger vehicle injured and took them all to a nearby hospital for further assistance.
Investigators believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
