Gridley, CA – 2 Injured in Vehicle Crash at Gilstrap Ave & Obermeyer Ave

Gridley, CA (April 17, 2019) In the early evening of April 16^th, a vehicle wreck happened at the intersection of Gilstrap Avenue and Obermeyer Avenue at approximately 5:09 p.m.

According to the reports, a GMC Yukon ended up 30 feet off of the highway, rolled over, and landed on its side. There was another vehicle that was involved in this dangerous accident as well.

When emergency crews arrived to help, they found at least two people suffering from injuries. After tending to the injured at the crash site, they transported both people to Rideout Memorial Hospital for additional treatment. Medical professionals confirmed that at least one of the injured victims is suffering from major injuries.

Officials are still investigating the accident to determine what led up to the major collision.
