Santa Clarita, CA- Accident on CA-14 Near Via Princessa Causes Major Injuries

Santa Clarita, CA (April 18, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported an accident on Highway 14 at around 12:18 am on Thursday involving four vehicles. The crash caused injuries to at least a dozen people, including major injuries to at least one.

The crash happened north of Via Princessa on CA-14 in Santa Clarita. Two vehicles collided for reasons unknown and two more vehicles subsequently become involved. The accident resulted in injuries requiring transportation of at least four people to local hospitals.

All lanes of Highway 14 were closed so that authorities could begin their investigation into the cause of the crash. Prior to reopening the roadway, tow trucks were called to take the damaged vehicles from the scene of the crash.
