Pedestrian Accidents in California
Sadly, around 8,000 people in California suffered fatalities after being hit by vehicles between 2006 and 2016. Most pedestrian accidents occur when drivers fail to pay attention to their surroundings and accidentally strike people who are crossing the street. Even if a pedestrian doesn’t have the right of way, drivers are still required to slow down or come to a complete stop so that pedestrians can cross safely.
