E-Scooter Safety in California
E-scooters are seen by many people as a fun way to get around in cities. What few people realize, however, is the poor safety track record these devices are gaining. In fact, a study by UCLA recently discovered that e-scooter accidents accounted for 249 emergency room visits in Los Angeles between 2017 and 2018. As more people use scooters, this number is likely to rise.
