UPDATE: Torrance, CA – Christopher Mack Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on PCH

Torrance, CA (April 25, 2019) On the morning of April 23^rd, a fatal motorcycle crash happened on Pacific Coast Highway, also known as CA-1. The reports indicate that a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading down the highway and turned left into a driveway in front of an oncoming 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle. The accident happened near Rolling Hills Way at around 9:35 p.m.

When the Torrance Police Department arrived at the scene, they found the 29-year-old motorcyclist lying in the roadway fatally injured. He has been identified as Christopher Mack. The truck driver suffered minor injuries and emergency crews tended to him at the scene.

The police are investigating the accident to determine what contributing factors were involved. So far, they believe speed played a role in the crash. They believe that a silver or gray Dodge Charger may have been racing the motorcyclist but will continue their investigation to finalize the facts.
