Santa Clara CA- Deadly Accident at Saratoga Ave. and Los Padres Blvd.

Santa Clara, CA (April 26, 2019)- A car crash on Thursday at approximately 9:48 am left one dead at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Los Padres Boulevard.

Reports stated that a 22-year-old Sunnyvale resident was killed when the black Ford Fusion he was driving at a high rate of speed hit a blue Ford Focus turning from Los Padres Boulevard westward onto Saratoga Avenue.

The crash caused the Fusion to roll over and hit a tree in the street’s center divider while the Focus rammed into a parked car on Saratoga Avenue’s north side.

The Fusion driver was transported to Valley Medical Center where he passed away from his injuries. Pending family notification, his name has not yet been released. The Focus driver, a 77-year-old Santa Clara resident, turned down treatment despite noting some pain.
