West Covina, CA – 75-Year-Old Man Dies in Accident on San Bernardino Rd Near Nora Ave

West Covina, CA (April 27, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck occurred on April 24 just after 4:30 p.m., that took the life of one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident where a 75-year-old man from Temple City tragically died. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around 4:38 p.m. on San Bernardino Road West of Nora Avenue.

The victim was driving his Honda Accord and collided with a truck that was reversing into a driveway. The Honda that the Temple City man was in hit the left side of the trailer.

Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene in order to help the victim. He was transported to the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, despite life-saving efforts, he died due to his injuries.

The accident is currently under investigation.
