Somehow a passenger vehicle collided with a big rig truck near Tuxford Street. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the driver of the passenger vehicle suffering from serious injuries an immediately took the injured victim to the hospital for treatment.

Big Rig Accidents in California
In 2012, approximately 261 people lost their lives as a result of truck accidents in California. Truck accidents often occur when one of the truck’s auto parts is malfunctioning, or when a truck driver is fatigued at the wheel. Other causes could be dangerous road conditions or hazardous weather conditions that make it difficult for the truck driver to maintain control of the truck. The federal government has created specific laws for truck companies to enforce amongst their employees, which includes limited work shifts and constant truck logging.
For families who have lost loved ones in truck accidents, it’s essential to work with an experienced California wrongful death attorney.
