UPDATE: Fairfield, CA – Woman Killed & 2 Injured in Fatal DUI Accident on CA-12

Fairfield, CA (April 30, 2019) On the 28^th of April, a fatal DUI accident happened at the intersection of Highway 12 and Beck Avenue just after 3:00 a.m.

A Dodge Challenger was speeding on Highway 12 when it crashed with a Toyota Sienna at the intersection. The Toyota was turning left at a green light when the Dodge drove through a red light and collided with it.

When an ambulance arrived, they found three occupants of the Toyota suffering from injuries. The driver, a 59-year-old man, suffered critical injuries while his wife, a 58-year-old woman, suffered major injuries.

The third occupant, 85-year-old Margaret Abudawood, also suffered from serious injuries. All three of the injured victims were taken to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. Unfortunately, Abudawood died at the hospital despite life-saving attempts.

The police arrested the driver of the Dodge, 31-year-old Arnulfo Santos-Reyes, and charged him with felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
