Oceanside, CA – 2 Injured in 2 Car Crash on Rancho Del Oro Dr

Oceanside, CA (May 1, 2019) On the morning of April 30^th, a two-vehicle accident happened on Rancho Del Oro Drive at about 9:30 a.m. An SUV and a box truck crashed into each other near San Ramon Drive.

One of the vehicles was headed south on Rancho Del Oro Drive, not too far from Rancho Del Oro High School, when its driver lost control and crashed into the other vehicle.

When an ambulance arrived at the scene, they found the drivers of the SUV and the truck injured after their vehicles collided. One of them suffered serious life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to hospitals for immediate treatment.

Crews shut down Rancho Del Oro Drive between San Ramon Street and Craven Street as they worked to clear up the accident.

Authorities are currently investigating to determine what caused one of the vehicles to lose control and crash into the other.
