When Vehicles and Bicycles Crash in California
Studies show that approximately two people die each day in bicycle accidents in the United States. Many of these accidents are caused by drivers failing to stay alert for bicyclists. As more people begin to commute via bicycle in order to help the environment as they travel, more drivers must pay attention to the fact that bicycles have as much a legal right to be on the roadways as cars.
