Riverside, CA – Jonathon Garcia Identified As Victim In Fatal Semi Crash on Buena Vista
Riverside, CA (May 4, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck and a pick-up truck occurred on May 1st just before midnight that took the life of one person.
The man killed in the crash on Wednesday night has been identified as Jonathon Garcia, 33, of Riverside.
Garcia was driving a Chevrolet pickup east on Buena Vista near Arfon Way when he ran into the 2011 Freightliner, which was going in the same direction. The pickup rolled, causing Garcia to be ejected from the vehicle. Garcia may have been speeding at the time of the incident.
Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid to Jonathon Garcia. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
