Highland Park, CA – Two Killed In Hit & Run Crash On San Pascual Ave at Pollard St

Highland Park, CA (May 5, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a hit-and-run occurred on May 5 just after 1 a.m. that took the life of two people.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday in the Highland Park neighborhood north of downtown.

Police are still searching for a motorist who left the scene on foot after his truck collided into the other vehicle.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, the two men who were struck did not survive their injuries from this accident.

Roadways were closed pending investigations, but are now reopened.
