Vacaville, CA- Person Dead After Fiery Collision on I-505 Near Allendale Rd

Vacaville, CA (May 7, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported a deadly multi-vehicle crash on Sunday, south of Allendale Road on the 505 Freeway.

The crash took place at around 11:03 pm. The cause of the crash is unknown. However, it resulted in a car catching fire, two victims sustaining major injuries, three victims sustaining minor injuries, and one fatality.

The coroner’s office has not yet identified the person who passed away in the crash.

The injured victims were taken to Kaiser Vacaville Medical Center for treatment.

The crash required the closure of the northbound lanes of the freeway.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
