Berkeley, CA- Pedestrian Critically Injured in Crash at Oregon and Sacramento Streets

Berkeley, CA (May 8, 2019)- The Berkeley Police Department reported a collision at Oregon Street and Sacramento Street on Sunday that left a pedestrian with critical injuries.

According to the police, a 69-year-old pedestrian was walking across Sacramento Street at Oregon Street when a 58-year-old Berkeley resident traveling southbound struck her.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She was reported as being in stable condition on Monday afternoon.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
