Stockton, CA – Man Ejected and Passenger Injured in Crash at West Ln. and Access St.

Stockton, CA (May 11, 2019) – A single-vehicle accident occurred on May 9th just before 10:30 p.m. that took the life of the 24-year-old male driver and seriously injured the 27-year-old male passenger.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. The accident happened near West Lane and Access Street. According to CHP officers, the crash happened because the car was speeding north on West Lane when – and then for unknown reasons – it crossed into the opposite lane and hit a tree.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle in the crash. Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid.  The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
