Head-On Collisions in California
In 2014, California reportedly had about 296,000 vehicle accidents occur that year. Out of those accidents, around 17,000 of them were head-on. Although head-on collisions aren’t as common as rear-end accidents, or T-bone accidents, they are considered to be the most dangerous type of accident to be involved in. Fatalities are more likely to result from head-on collisions because the force of impact is twice as impactful than any other accident.
