When Fatal Truck Accidents Happen in California
In 2016, the Federal Motor Carrier Association reported 3,864 fatal crashes and 104,000 injury crashes in the US involving large trucks such as semi-trucks. When fatal crashes with semi-trucks occur, liability for the accident must be determined. Frequently, driver fatigue contributes to semi-truck accidents as drivers are pressured to get to their destination on time. However, many other factors can contribute to large truck accidents.
