Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents in California
Sadly, at least one hit-and-run accident occurs every sixty seconds nationwide. When these types of accidents occur at night, the leading cause is often drivers being under the influence at the time of the crash. Being impaired by alcohol makes drivers more likely to accidentally strike pedestrians since their senses are altered, especially their vision and their ability to react to their environment.
